123 Organic Tequila is a renowned spirits company led by Founder and Tequilero David Ravandi, who embodies a deep passion for creating agave spirits that epitomize the concept of terroir, complexity, and delicate floral aromas. The company’s journey begins with the careful cultivation of agave plants at USDA and EU certified organic estates, where Ravandi ensures the highest quality standards are met at every stage of production, partnering with local master artisans and exercising his keen attention to detail.

123 Tequila sets itself apart not only through its commitment to crafting exceptional tequilas but also by embracing sustainability and environmental consciousness. The company’s dedication to quality and sustainability extends to its packaging, as their Blanco (Uno), Reposado (Dos), Añejo (Tres), and Extra Añejo (Diablito) tequilas are elegantly bottled in hand-blown recycled glass. With a perfect blend of expertise, craftsmanship, and a strong focus on sustainability, 123 Tequila has established itself as a leading brand in the industry.

THE VISION

Working with a fellow marketer and brand ambassador Marco Tallarico, and one of Ontario’s largest wine/spirits distributors Grape Brands Ltd, this project was brought to us with the intention to expand the 123 Organic Tequila brand into Canada. The objective of this project was to establish a strong market presence for the brand in Canada, ultimately leading to increased consumer and licensee demand. By successfully penetrating the Ontario market, the brand aims to expand its operations across Canada. The target market for this brand comprises discerning consumers seeking premium, high-quality tequila options that may not be readily available in mainstream outlets such as the LCBO, local cantinas, and other dealers.

The campaign’s primary goal is to appeal to the “top shelf” market segment, which includes tequila enthusiasts and social drinkers who enjoy tequila, and  connoisseurs of the spirit. This campaign was directed to reach a broader audience within this market and educate them about the unique qualities and allure of organic Tequila.

Ultimately, our vision was to successfully establish 123 Tequila as a sought-after brand in the Canadian market, leveraging a well-planned and cost-conscious branding, direct and digital marketing outlets.

THE WORK

Our work began by rebuilding, refocusing and establishing a stand alone brand for 123 Organic Tequila in Canada. By executing ongoing brand and marketing consultations, a comprehensive marketing strategy, we developed digital media and print assets to educate consumers about the company.
